Refund & Return Policy

1.0 ANALYZING RETURN, REFUND & CALCULATION.

1.1 If 30 days have gone by since your delivery date, we apologize, we can’t offer you a refund, exchange, or return. (Warranty excluded).

1.2 To be eligible for a return, in case the customer has issues during installation, he/she must accept our technical assistance. If the technical assistance we provide could not solve the installation issue, then the customer can request a return. For that you must contact us at support@mergescreens.com stating your desire to process a return as the technical assistance was not successful at solving your problem. Once you do, we will start the process of return. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

1.3 We cannot process returns based on the consumer not being able to install the product. It is the consumers' responsibility to know if he/she is able to install an aftermarket product in their vehicle and to search for professional help, as suggested by MERGE SCREENS, if he/she is not able to.

1.4 To complete your return, we require an order number. To acquire the return address and/or start a return, please contact us.

1.5 ‘MERGE SCREENS’ will require a coverage of a restocking/repackaging fee, which varies based on the product type as outlined below:

For Tesla style screens: Screens that are returned, once the package is on its way to the  warehouse, are refunded 70%. We keep the 30% until we check the condition of the return. This can extend for up to 4 week after receing the product. If there are no major damages, we will retain 15% + $25 as a restocking fee and refund the remainder. If major damages are present (e.g., scratched screen), we will retain the amount necessary to cover these damages and refund the remaining balance.

For Carplay Modules: Modules that are returned, once the package is on its way to the US warehouse, are refunded 70%. We retain 30% until we check the condition of the return. This can extend for up to 4 week after receing the product. If there are no major damages, we will retain 10% as a restocking fee and refund the remainder. If major damages are present (e.g., missing wires), we will retain the amount necessary to cover these damages and refund any remaining balance.

1.6 If 'consumer' is eligible or granted exception for a return, ‘MERGE SCREENS’ will refund the amount mentioned in 1.5. This includes any cancellations, orders placed accidentally, and/or vehicles not supported by ‘MERGE SCREENS’ without 'consumer' checking with 'MERGE SCREENS' for support of vehicle beforehand.

1.7 Pre-orders and any pre-custom manufacturing, requires customer to pay all fees upfront (These fees include 'MERGE SCREENS' purchasing supplies & parts to put together and manufacture the system for the customer). If the customer would like to cancel the order, a 3% cancellation fee will be deducted, to cover losses issued to 'MERGE SCREENS' when receiving and processing payments. Customer should not agree to terms and conditions on product page, unless terms and conditions are fully understood.

1.8  Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you, to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you on the amount to be refunded. Then, your refund will be processed, credit will automatically be returned to your original payment method (May take 3-10 business days, depending on your payment method and financial institution)

1.9 If you haven’t received a refund yet, check your bank account again.
Then contact your card issuer, it may take some time before your refund has officially landed. Next, contact your bank, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

1.10 We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange for a similar item, send us an email at support@mergescreens.com or contact us, to begin the process.

1.11 Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

*Once we receive the return, we will test the unit with our system to check whether it has been used or not. We will check if the module stored car data*

*Refund is strictly based on "Product Price". Refund does not apply to shipping and any extras/features paid for*

1.12 It is important that you double check your order details and ensure you have used any applicable discounts. If orders are accidentally placed without the intended discount used, unfortunately we will not be able to go back and apply it or refund the amount.

2.0 WARRANTY & DISCLAIMER

2.1 By default, ‘MERGE SCREENS’ provides 1 Year Warranty on all products. We understand that in rare instances, some products that were manufactured, potentially might be faulty. Warranty extension may be purchased, only up to 30 days after original product purchase.

2.2 ‘MERGE SCREENS’ provides 4 weeks of "free replacement warranty" if our products arrive faulty or do not operate as expected (Assessed by ‘MERGE SCREENS’ Only).

2.3 The consumer has up to 4 weeks to return the product for a free replacement (This does not include Shipping and Taxes). The consumer will be responsible for paying shipping and any applicable taxes UNLESS the product has a quality issue or is faulty on arrival)  (Assessed by ‘MERGE SCREENS’ Only).

2.4 ‘MERGE SCREENS’ will not be held responsible for improper installations. This includes, rips, tears, electrical faults. Please install at your own risk. Our products go through many manufacturing and testing phases to ensure quality assurance. Any third party professionals that do not have involvement or partnerships with  ‘MERGE SCREENS’, are NOT Covered. We will only guarantee work through our partners. Warranty assessment will only be professionally assessed by ‘MERGE SCREENS’. Please note: Our products have surge protection going both ways, to and from your vehicle. It will not be possible for our products deteriorate or destroy vehicle features, accessories or general electrical.

2.5 ‘MERGE SCREENS’ provides products that are considered as ‘aftermarket’. These products may not operate the same as factory equipment. We engineer them as best as possible to be able to give an alternative to owners of vehicles that do not otherwise have many other options in the market.

2.6 'MERGE SCREENS’ sells products at different, complex levels, at different price ranges, with all products providing a different cause and feature.  ‘MERGE SCREENS’ is not responsible for improper installation(s), in saying this, for the first time installation, you might encounter some issues, that’s why we’re to help.  ‘MERGE SCREENS’ and the team, suggests to visit a professional or get professional advice if you’re not comfortable with amending your vehicle.

2.7 ‘MERGE SCREENS’ sells modules that have an android-based interface that allows consumers to download 3rd party apps that are owned by other 3rd parties. If a 3rd party app is not operating as it should, then it is suggested to contact that 3rd party where possible. ‘MERGE SCREENS’ will be here to help with any technical issues and where possible. ‘MERGE SCREENS’ will not issue a refund or return without a valid reason. If at any point, one of our staff are threatened or abused, any refunds/returns will be void.

2.8 We may update our site from time to time and may change the content or product pricing to suit market demand and needs at any time. ' MERGE SCREENS' has all rights to do this.

2.9 We have all rights to accept or cancel any order, at anytime. We also hold all rights to NOT cancel any orders recognized as fraud until we believe the funds can safely be returned to the true holder of the payment method used.

3.0 SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE) 

3.1 Regular priced items are eligible for refund requests. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Sale Items include any discounts/coupons, including any holiday discounts, E.G; Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, Christmas, Etc.

3.2 Sale items may not be returned or refunded, including; any cancellations, orders placed accidentally, and/or vehicles not supported by ‘MERGE SCREENS’ without 'consumer' preemptively checking with 'MERGE SCREENS' for support of vehicle. This does not include warranty. Warranty may still apply if the product is not operating as expected. Expectations of operation will be assessed by 'MERGE SCREENS' only.

No Third parties have assessment interest or opinion.

3.3 'MERGE SCREENS' reserves the right to refuse/deny any sale without any reason provided.
